Prick Flair released The 619 Project, a wrestling-themed album built entirely around punchlines and references from the world of pro wrestling, produced front to back by Klassic Kloudhead. The project extended the in-jokes and stylistic quirks Flair had been known for in his verses and turned them into a fully realized concept record.
Later that year, Klassic released New Product Just Came In, a house and electronic-leaning album that brought him back to his instrumental roots, this time with a more mature sense of pacing and structure. That momentum continued with Winter Weather Warning in November, further establishing a run of projects that treated NuSounds as both label and narrative platform.
