Jan. 21st
SuperUgly’s “Top Of The Food Chain” EP is released. This was SuperUgly’s first release featuring content exclusively for NuSounds Global, as 2011’s “I Hate SuperUgly” was originally intended for release on Infinite Records.
March 24th
"NuSounds or Nothing Vol. 1" was released on this day. This compilation album was a showcase of the entire NSG roster. Featuring a mixture of previously recorded and brand new material from everyone on the label, the album was a buffet of everything NuSounds offered. A list of guest features was showcased on the album, with each member reaching out to their various musical partners. Each NSG member had their own set of songs, and there were collaborations between various members as well. This album marked Dr. Death aka Lil Insanity’s last appearance on NuSounds Global.

May 21st
“Triumphant” is released on this day. This mixtape from Krazy and Pskitz, who was a musical partner of Krazy at the time, was originally recorded in 2009 but remained unreleased until NSG took up distribution duties in 2014.
Oct. 28th
“NuSounds or Nothing Vol. 2” is released on this day. The follow-up to the original album follows the same formula. Every NSG member has multiple solo and collaborative appearances, alongside a list of collaborations with various NSG affiliates. Also appearing on this album was Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony with the song “The Message,” which featured Krazy, Jahni Denver, and Indigenous People.
Vol. 2 was somewhat of a curtain call for this incarnation of NuSounds Global. In the time after the album’s release, members DeSix, Krazy, and Tres Aurland would one by one amicably leave NuSounds Global to pursue various ventures in and outside of music. Klassic also took an extended hiatus from music for personal reasons following the release of this album.
Serving as a bookmark to this era in NSG’s history, “NuSounds or Nothing Vol. 2” would be the last album of new music to be released from the label for several years.
