On Sept. 13th, 2011, Klassic Kloudhead announces the launch of NuSounds Global. It was announced that his upcoming mixtape “Tattoos and Energy Drinks” would no longer be released by Infinite Records and instead would be released under his own label, NSG. Alongside Klassic, SuperUgly also decided to leave Infinite Records and begin releasing music on NuSounds Global.
Sept. 17th
Klassic releases his mixtape “Tattoos and Energy Drinks.” This was the start of a series of releases by NuSounds Global to round out the year.
Sept. 24th
NuSounds debuted their first new artist, DeSix. His electronic instrumental album “The Other Dimension,” showcased the fact of NuSounds Global being a multi-genre label.
Oct. 8th
SuperUgly’s NuSounds debut “I Hate SuperUgly” was released on this day. This mixtape featured a series of songs over the latest beats of that era.
Oct. 15th
In the midst of establishing NSG, Klassic was looking for new acts to add to the roster. In came Deadly Combination. A duo consisting of Tres Aurland and Dr. Death aka lil Insanity. Their self-titled debut EP featured a collection of previously recorded loose tracks, compiled into a cohesive project.
Nov. 27th
NuSounds closed out 2011 with an EP from Klassic entitled “Civilians At War”
